It was on Monday January 14th 2019 that this first term kicked off. It had 12 busy weeks for both pupils and teachers. Two monthly tests took place for the pupils, which meant that we were on tight schedule!

Pupils were not only occupied with curricular activities, but also they participated in extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs and religious activities.

The school organized training and workshops for teachers. The first training or workshop was a pedagogical day in order to refresh teachers for teaching and learning methodology using the new program known as CBC or Competence Based Curriculum. The second training was about child protection and safeguarding. This training saw the participation of the teachers of EPSI and SIHS together with the administration of both schools. We were introduced to the protocols and policies of child protection that will be implemented in all the works of the Society of Jesus in Rwanda and Burundi.

On a sunny morning, Saturday April 6, 2019, the first term came to an end at EPSI.

We thank our God for journeying with us for this first term. We are eager to begin the second term in form on 23rd of April 2019.
